Batter 1:Blend and beat the egg and sugar (1 minute). Add in cooking oil, mashed banana, banana/vanilla extracts. Continue blending for another 30 secs for a smooth batter. Batter 2:Mix flour, baking powder and sodium bicarbonate and sift the mixture into a big bowl.Instructions
Mix Batter 1 and Batter 2 together.
Pour 1/4 of the batter into each mould.
Steam it for 30 minutes. (Note: Make sure to cover the pan with wet cloth to prevent water from dripping into the batter).
After half an hour, turn off the heat and lift up the lid.
Put the steamed cake on the rack and let it cool for 1 – 2 minutes.
Remove the cake from the mould and ready to be served.
