Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of Adabi Pancake Mix
  • 1 cup of Cooking Oil
  • 1 cup of Banana (mashed)
  • 1 tablespoon of Sweetened Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Sodium Bicarbonate
  • Banana / Vanilla Extract
  • Sugar
  • Water

Cooking Instructions

Batter 1: Blend and beat the egg and sugar (1 minute). Add in cooking oil, mashed banana, banana/vanilla extracts. Continue blending for another 30 secs for a smooth batter.  Batter 2: Mix flour, baking powder and sodium bicarbonate and sift the mixture into a big bowl. Instructions
  • Mix Batter 1 and Batter 2 together.  
  • Pour 1/4 of the batter into each mould.
  • Steam it for 30 minutes. (Note: Make sure to cover the pan with wet cloth to prevent water from dripping into the batter). 
  • After half an hour, turn off the heat and lift up the lid. 
  • Put the steamed cake on the rack and let it cool for 1 – 2 minutes.
  • Remove the cake from the mould and ready to be served.
