1 chicken (cleaned and cut)
5 tablespoons of Adabi Sweet Soy Sauce
1/2 tablespoon of Adabi Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon of Adabi Chilli Paste
1 tablespoon of Adabi Oyster Sauce
1 Adabi Sup Bunjut Soup Spices
3 Red Shallots (grinded)
1 Onion (cut into 4 slices)
2 cloves of Garlic (grinded)
2cm Ginger (grinded)
2 sticks of Lemongrass (pounded)
4 stalks of Curry Leaves
2 pieces of Dry Chilli (cut into half)
5 Cili Padi (cut into cubes)
6 tablespoons Cooking Oil
Cornstarch (Cornflour mixed with Water)
1 stalk of Scallion
1 stalk of Coriander
Adabi Chicken in Sweet Soy Sauce
Marinate the chicken with Adabi Turmeric Powder and Adabi Salt. Fry the chicken until it turns golden brown.
Heat up the pan with cooking oil.
Sauté the dry chili and Adabi Chilli Paste, then add red shallots, garlic, ginger, and lemongrass. Keep stirring until fragrant.
Next, pour in Adabi Sup Bunjut Soup Spices, Adabi Oyster Sauce, Adabi Sweet Soy Sauce and mix well with water.
Add Adabi Salt and sugar to taste. Mix well.
Leave to boil and add the fried chicken, scallions, coriander and onions.
Pour the cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
Garnish with cili padi and serve hot.
